A VIEW OF THE REVERSE DESIGN, VISIBLE ON ONE OR BOTH END OF THE ROLL

Each coin included in the Special Wrap Roll has a reverse and obverse design. The production process and quality assurance for uncirculated Special Wrap Rolls allows for either the reverse design on both ends, or the reverse design on one end and the obverse on the other. It is not possible for the Mint to guarantee or foresee which of the two versions will be shipped.

FIFA World Cup 2026TM/MC marks the second time the tournament is shared among multiple nations—the first was in 2002, when Japan and South Korea co-hosted—but the first with three host nations. This year’s tournament is also the first FIFA World CupTM/MC with 48 teams, including Canada’s Men’s National Team, which will play its opening match in Toronto and two more in Vancouver.

Designed by Canadian artist Glen Green, the reverse features the inscriptions “FIFA WORLD CUP 26TM/MC” and “COUPE DU MONDE DE LA FIFA 26MC/TM” along the top and bottom of the coin, respectively. Between the event titles, the official FIFA World Cup 2026TM/MC emblem appears on the left of the maple leaf laser mark, while on the right, a soccer ball in movement is accompanied by the words “TORONTO” and “VANCOUVER” denoting the two Canadian host cities; beneath them is the FIFA Canada 2026 maple leaf mosaic emblem, proudly highlighted in orange and red on the colourized coin. The issuing country (“CANADA”), year of issue (“2026”) and denomination (“DOLLAR”) are inscribed on the obverse, which features the effigy of His Majesty King Charles III by Canadian artist Steven Rosati.
