Superman™ #4 first hit the newsstands in the Spring of 1940. The issue features the 2nd and 3rd appearance of super villain Lex Luthor, Superman's™ arch enemy. The front cover is from the first story in the issue. When an earthquake strikes Metropolis Clark Kent is sent to cover the story. This allows him to change to Superman™ and help protect and rescue the citizens of Metropolis from the quake.
The obverse of the coin features the Susanna Blunt effigy of Queen Elizabeth II and the words "Elizabeth II D.G. Regina" and the artist's initials.
The reverse of the coin has Superman™ supporting pillars of a collapsing building allowing several citizens of Metropolis to escape. Superman™ is presented in vivid colour, wearing his original uniform complete with original-style "S". The coin is further enhanced with engraved concentric circles which add depth and the feeling of motion to the design. The design is surrounded by the words "Canada 100 Dollars 2015" and the DC Comics™ trademark.
With a limited worldwide mintage of only 2000 Superman™ won't be around for long. They make a great gift for both coin and Superman™ collectors alike.

This coin comes encapsulated in a premium graphic case with beauty box.
