This magnificent collectible celebrates Albert Einstein's Theory of Relativity and the famous portrait of Einstein by Canadian photographer, Yousuf Karsh.

2015 marks the 100th anniversary of Einstein's General Theory of Relativity and the 110th anniversary of the Special Theory of Relativity, a cornerstone of modern physics. Einstein's theory changed the way we view our world, and scientists are still working to this day to continue to prove his postulates. Karsh is considered one of the masters of 20th century photography, and this is considered to be one of his finest works.

The obverse of this coin features the Yousuf Karsh portrait of Albert Einstein, taken at his office in the Princeton Institute for Advanced Studies. The Royal Canadian Mint engravers have re-created the moment perfectly, using a variety of different finishes and a proof field.

This superb piece celebrates one of the intellectual giants of the 20th century, don't miss your chance to add this to your collection.
