The giant panda and it's baby munch on bamboo with their reflection appears in the peaceful water below on this seventh release in the endangered species silver coin collection.
The endangered giant panda is thought to number less than 3000, with around 10 % of the population living in captivity. While the giant panda is classified as a carnivore, it's diet consists 99% of bamboo. Conservation efforts appear to be working, with the greatest threat being poaching.
With a limited mintage of 2,000, this is a wonderful addition to any wildlife-themed collection and a meaningful gift for anyone passionate about endangered wildlife.
This coin comes packaged in a rustic wooden crate, with a printed brown box and encapsulated in a coin capsule.
