This beautiful privy silver maple leaf celebrates the 100th anniversary of the introduction of the Mark series tanks by the British in World War 1.
These coins are minted in a beautiful reverse proof style, with the field being frosted while the maple leaf, privy mark and lettering are shiny. This release will be limited to mintage of only 50000.
The Mark series tank was the first tank to enter combat. The tank was originally developed as a weapon capable of crossing trenches, traveling over challenging terrain and to help capture heavily armed enemy positions.
A favourite of investors, the Canadian Maple Leaf Silver Coin has been minted by the Royal Canadian Mint in limited quantity and issued annually since 1988. You can be confident that you are protecting your savings in a prudent fashion.
These coins will always be in demand thanks to their limited mintage, and will prove to be a highly liquid inflation hedge.
In multiples of 25 these coins will be shipped in a plastic tube.
