The wreath of laurel leaves surrounding the edges of the coin mimic the logo of the United Federation of Planets and were used in ancient Rome to symbolize victory.
The Enterprise 1701-D "was" launched in 2363 and is the third of the Galaxy-class vessels launched by the United Federation of Planets.

ABOUT THE PERTH MINT
