These proof-like rounds were supposed to be a members-only item for 2014, not for sale to the general public or available through authorized dealers.
Mintage was limited to 250.
The mint produced 40 more than were needed, and their error was not discovered until much later.
We bought all of them, and they are now available so you can fill in your Silver Shield collection.
This unique double Reverse design celebrates 2014 leading to 2015.
Both Silver Shield reverses fully embrace the Trivium design that made it's first appearance in 2012 and has made it's way into several subsequent releases like Freedom Girl and Sic Semper Tyrannis.
The 47 bullets remain as symbol of the atomic number of silver.
The overall clean design shows the maturity of the brand and message.
