The reverse depicts an effigy of Queen Elizabeth II along with Ilanaaq, the official logo of the 2010 Winter Olympics. The obverse design features a Thunderbird totem. The Thunderbird was considered to be the Creator, Destroyer and Controller of Nature and must be honoured and appeased at all times.
