Specifications

Minted by the Royal Canadian Mint in limited quantity and issued in 2009 commemorating the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics.

This coin carries the logo for the 2010 Vancouver Olympics - the official logo of the games (Inukshuk - a human built stone landmark used by the Inuit, Inupiat, Kalaallit, Yupik, and other peoples of the Arctic region of North America.)

The reverse depicts an effigy of Queen Elizabeth II along with Ilanaaq, the official logo of the 2010 Winter Olympics.

The obverse design features a Thunderbird totem. The Thunderbird was considered to be the Creator, Destroyer and Controller of Nature and must be honoured and appeased at all times. There are 11 maple leaves that appear to be blown around the coin by the Thunderbird's wings.

We only have a limited number of these, grab them while you can!

Coins may have milk spots.
