PRODUCT HIGHLIGHTS

  • Ships individually in protective packaging
  • Consisting of 0.295 oz of 400 Junk Silver

Minted in a half dollar denomination, between the years of 1965 until 1970 for Kennedy and one dollar denomination from 1971 until 1974 for Eisenhower, these circulation coins were comprised of 40% pure silver. They were additionally minted for both presidents in 1976. This face value bag will be comprised of circulation coinage from these eras, containing the historical value in addition to their precious metal content!

Patriots and historians revere President John F. Kennedy and Dwight D. Eisenhower amongst some of the greatest leaders in United States history. As a result, the United States Congress decided to immortalize these men in the form of coinage that would allow their legacies to live on forever.

The obverse side of your 40% face value coins will boast the likeness of either President John F. Kennedy or Dwight D. Eisenhower, who were visionaries and pioneers in their own right. "Liberty" is displayed prominently as the Coin's legend, while the year of issue is observed below.

The reverse contains the national emblem of the United States, the bald eagle in various poses. "E Pluribus Unum," Latin for "of many, one" is seen below the Coin's legend, which is the nation's title.

ABOUT THE UNITED STATES MINT

Established in 1792 as the first national mint in the United States, the United States Mint is a bureau of the Department of the Treasury responsible for official legal tender coinage production. The United States Mint has a mission to serve Americans as the sole manufacturer and distributor of circulating currency coins. The U.S. mint also produces commemorative coins for collectors, silver and gold bullion coins for investors (such as the popular Eagle and Buffalo series), as well as Congressional Medals.
