These ultra rare mint error rounds are part of a small batch that we received from Golden State Mint. They are definitely 1/4 troy ounce of silver, but when struck at the mint they used the reverse side die from the 1/4 oz copper rounds! Instead of being stamped as "1/4 troy oz 999 Fine Silver" they are stamped as "1/4 ounce 999 Fine Copper".
Patterned after the $2.50 & $5.00 Indian Head Gold Coin Minted from 1908 to 1929, the last year of minting shown on this Round. Note the mirror-like fields around the design images, denoting very high quality.
Mint error bullion items are highly sought after collector's items, order yours before we have sold out!
These rounds will be shipped to you individually protected in a clear plastic sleeve. In multiples of 20, they will be shipped in a plastic tube.
