Specifications
The Looney Tunes™ characters are some of the craziest and best-loved animated characters of all time. The first Looney Tunes™ short dates to 1929, although the first appearance of a major character recognizable today was by Porky Pig in 1935. Merrie Melodies were animated in full colour starting in 1934, a full nine years before Looney Tunes™.
The reverse of this coin features a rendering of Bugs Bunny, chin resting on his hand with a mischievous look on his face. Bugs Bunny joined the cast of Merrie Melodies in 1940. His first appearance, along with Elmer Fudd in "A Wild Hare" won an Academy Award for Best Cartoon Short Subject. This coin is made even more interesting thanks to the use of multiple finishes including a shadow behind Bugs.
Most of the RCM's $20 for $20 coins sell out almost immediately. With a mintage of only 350000, these will sell quickly.

This coin ships in a vinyl pouch placed inside a certificate booklet.
