Specifications
This coin was designed by Canadian Artist Claudio D'Angelo. The reverse features three red candles of varying heights to give the illusion of depth, closer candles are larger and as they get further away they get smaller. All three candles are coloured with red enamel, something that requires specialized engraving to ensure accurate setting. The candles are lit and sit in identical candle holders that are specially engraved to cast their own glow. There are two large pinecones in the background, the one on the right is standing up and the one on the left is laying down. There is a decorative pine bough in the centre to complete the holiday feel. The words "Canada 10 Dollars 2013" are engraved on the bottom. The obverse features the Susanna Blunt effigy and the words "Elizabeth II D.G Regina".
These coins come encapsualted and in a Royal Canadian mint branded maroon clamshell case protected by a special holiday themed sleeve.
